Lee Ji Ah to Star in a New Drama from The Penthouse Writer

Korean Cable Television Network, tvN has confirmed a new thriller soon to start filming, Lady or First Lady. It will be bannered by Lee Ji Ah and Lee Sang Soon. 

According to tvN's initial description of this newest drama, First Lady tells the story of Hong Tae Ra (to be played by Lee Ji Ah) who will undergo some level of tribulations in life.

This is a story of a desperate retribution to those who have led their lives to the bottom and their struggle to protect their families.

Hong Tae Ra is a woman whose husband will enter the presidential race. While she has everything that one could ever wish for including wealth, fame, and unwavering love from her husband and daughter, Hong Tae Ra has no memory of her past. 

However, unsealed memories begin to create cracks into what seemed to be a perfect life, and it turns into an uncontrollable struggle.

Lee Sang Yoon will be playing the role of Pyo Jae Hyun, the husband of Hong Tae Ra and a genius developer. With his gentle leadership and great sense, he is known as the #1 entrepreneur that the MZ generation want to resemble the most.

Lee Ji Ah just starred in the hit K-Drama, The Penthouse: War in Life (season 1,2,3). She will be reunited with Kim Soon-ok, the writer of The Penthouse who will also write the script of First Lady.

Writer Kim Soon-ok is also the writer of other Korean drama hits: Temptation of Wife, Jang Bo-ri is Here, The Last Empress, and My Daughter, Geum-Sawol. 

Confirmed casts of First Lady

Lee Ji Ah will also be working again with Bong Tae-gyu her co-star in The Penthouse. Bong Tae-gyu has a support role in the First Lady.

Hopefully, the writer, Kim Soon-ok won't do inconceivable and exaggerated plot twists. She is known with this style in most of her drama such as Temptation of Wife, The Last Empress and The Penthouse where most twists were already out of this world.
