Complete List of Winners and Celebrity Fashion: 28th Magnolia Awards, Shanghai TV Festival

The Magnolia Award is one of China's most prestigious award-giving bodies for TV excellence, along with the Flying Apsaras or the Feitian Awards and the Golden Eagle Awards. It is presented by the Shanghai Television Festival. 

The 28th Magnolia Awards just concluded a while ago and here is the complete list of winners.

Best Chinese TV series in 2022: 

• Bright Future starring Hu Ge, Wu Yue, and Steven Zhang  
• A Lifelong Journey starring Lei Jiayin, Xin Bai Qing, Song Jia, Yin Tao, and Ding Yongdai

Celebrity Fashion:

As with most celebrity events and red carpet appearances, we have seen popular Chinese drama stars attended the event wearing their magnificent outfits.

Zhou Yutong, Zhao Liying, and Qin Lan

Zhou Yutong wore a royal blue strapless gown with a pleated waist from Alex Perry haute couture 2023 spring and summer collection. 

Qin Lan looked seductive in a black strapless silhouette dress from Yanina clothing brand. She completed her dramatic look with a pair of black opera gloves. 

Xuan Lu, Jin Chen, and Bai Lu 

Whitish fashion! Jin Chen looked pristine in a white lantern sleeve wedding dress series from Kim Kassas 2023 bridal spring collection. She completed her look with a four-strand pearl choker. 

Bailu appeared in a vest-style white dress from Viktor and Rolf  white wedding dress spring and summer collection. 

Other actresses who graced the red carpet in a white ensemble are Xuan Lu, main lead in the upcoming modern drama, Rose and Gun, Su Xiaotong, Jiang Pei Yao, and Cai Wenjing.

Men who looked dapper in suits are Best Actor nominee Hu Ge, who wore a navy blue suit possibly from Giorgio Armani, Zhu Yilong, another Best Actor nominee for the series, The Rebel, appeared in a white suit jacket and black trousers from the Ferragamo 2023 pre-autumn men's collection.

Zhang Ruoyun appeared in a gray suit decorated with sequins from the Fendi 2023 autumn and winter men's series.

However, the most noticeable among the ladies was Zhao Liying. She donned three gowns to the event. Two black dresses and a gold ensemble.

When she went to the stage to accept her ambassador plaque she sparkled in a backless black dress from Alexandre Vauthier and her chic De Beers jewelry.

In the red carpet, Zhao Liying wore a gold dress with crystal embellishments. It's from Elie Saab, a Lebanese fashion designer, 2023 spring summer haute couture collection.

The design has a majestic "golden dawn" hue and Asian imagery swirl. According to the couture house, the collection drew inspiration from Thai traditional fashion clothes.
