We're used to watching celebrities wed in extravagance and star-studded bonanzas, but others prefer to say "I do" in private and intimate gatherings, however, whether it's an intimate or a big affair, a celebrity wedding is always a celebration of fashion and style.

In Asian entertainment, celebrity brides always make sure they wear something memorable, romantic, and stylish on their special day. Here are 10 of the most stunning and stylish wedding gowns worn by Asian celebrity brides.

1. Kimberley Ann Woltemas in a classic Dior lace gown

Thai drama actress Kimberley Ann Woltemas wed her long-time boyfriend, fellow Thai drama star, Mark Prin Suparat, in an intimate but classy wedding ceremony held in the romantic Lake Como, Italy, on September 14, 2023.

Kimmy wore at least three stunning white gowns for her big day. One for the pre-wedding shoot and two during the actual wedding day.

For the pre-wedding shoot, Kim wore an off-the-shoulder long sleeves white dress with a mermaid train and a sweeping veil. It's created for her by Dior.

On her wedding day, the beautiful bride who is a Dior brand ambassador, wore a classic Victorian-inspired sleeve silhouette wedding gown designed by Dior's resident haute couture designer, Maria Grazia Chiuri.

Kimmy's stunning white dress is a delicate lace body overlay silhouette, embodying a timeless beauty and romance. The dress is made of a white floral guipure lace fabric which requires three layers of lace techniques to be sewn into the corset.

According to Dior, Kimmy's wedding gown is magnified by floral guipure, exuding bridal allure through its sumptuous fabrics and romantic lace detailing.

To complete the look, Kimmy wore a custom-made Lily of the Valley headband, which made her even more stunning on her wedding day.

The blushing bride wore another gorgeous white Dior dress at the wedding reception that night. a romantic sleeveless dress with a wrapped waist and a shoulder detail that flowed at the back. She also added a dramatic look to her headband by attaching a white veil.

2. Priyanka Chopra in a Ralph Lauren lace gown

Former Miss World 2000 and Indian actress, Priyanka Chopra, wed American singer, Nick Jonas on December 1, 2018, at Jodhpur's Umaid Bhawan Palace in India, roughly more than a year since they began dating.

They had two wedding ceremonies to honor their respective religions, one in the traditional Hindi wedding and one in a Western-style Christian wedding to honor Nick's Christian upbringing.

During their Western-style Christian wedding, Priyanka wore a bespoke lace overlay dress created for her by American fashion designer, Ralph Lauren. According to People magazine, it took 1,826 hours to finish the dress!

The stunning lace gown was adorned with 2,380,000 mother-of-pearl sequins. The hand-beaded and hand-embroidered dress featured floral scroll motifs, lace-effect tulle appliqués, scalloped sleeves, a high-neck collar, and scalloped sleeves.

Priyanka Chopra completed her look with a long tulle veil that reached 75 feet and custom-made shoes from Jimmy Choo.

Chopra wanted to honor the people, morals, and moments that are closest to her so the team at Ralph Lauren hand-stitched eight words and phrases onto the gown including Jonas' full name (Nicholas Jerry Jonas), the couple's wedding date, and the names of her parents (Madhu & Ashok). Chopra had a piece of her mother-in-law's lace wedding dress sewn into her dress.

3. Liu Shishi in a romantic Carven off-the-shoulder dress

Chinese actress Liu Shishi wed her Scarlet Heart leading man, Taiwanese actor, Nicky Wu, in March 2016 in Bali, Indonesia. The ceremony came a year after they registered their marriage in China in 2015.

Liu Shishi and Nicky Wu met while filming a historical romance/time travel C-drama, Scarlet Heart, in 2010 which became a huge hit in Asia when it was aired in 2011. It spawned a sequel in 2013, Scarlet Heart 2. They began dating in 2013.

Their Bali wedding was held in the luxury resort, Ayana Resort and Spa and was officiated by veteran Hong Kong actor Damian Lau, who portrayed Emperor Kangxi in Scarlet Heart (2011), the father of the 4th Prince played by Nicky Wu.

Most of their Scarlet Heart co-stars attended the wedding. The climax of the night was when Wu – a former member of the Taiwanese boy band, Little Tigers, which was disbanded in the 1990s – reunited with his band mates, Alec Su and Julian Chen. They took the stage to perform their hit song Love.

One of the hosts of the wedding reception was Wallace Huo, who co-starred with Liu Shishi in the 2009 xianxia drama, Chinese Paladin 3, with Hu Ge, Yang Mi, and Tiffany Tang.

The lavish wedding was adorned with flowers highlighted by a giant arc. Liu Shishi looked spectacular in a custom-made white dress designed by Carven, a French label.

The gorgeous gown was made from ivory silk, affixed with a corset, and covered in a thin strip of tulle that extended to the ground.

The A-line silhouette and crown-like veil had floral motifs embroideries. The romantic neckline was finished in scalloped lace.

4. Jang Nara

K-drama actress wed her non-showbiz boyfriend on June 26, 2022, at Bonnelli Garden in Seoul, South Korea. It was a private wedding attended only by their family members and closest friends.

As the wedding march flowed out, Jang Nara took her father, actor Joo Ho-seong's hand, and walked to the center aisle to meet the bridegroom.

The identity of Jang Nara's boyfriend, and now husband, remained anonymous, and so with the designer of her simple but beautiful wedding dress.

But we love this wedding gown by Jang Nara. A minimalist design without any embroidery or elaborate details. Just a simple ivory silk dress but super elegant. It has a flowing hemline, 3/4 sleeves, a square-cut bodice, and a short veil held in place by a tiara.

The design of the dress complimented Jang Nara's petit form and angelic face. She looked so charming during her big day. The designer captured Jang Nara's simple but elegant demeanor with how the wedding dress was designed. We love it!

6. Son Ye-jin in Mira Zwillinger's Tulle Dress

Just like most of the celebrity weddings we featured in this post, K-drama stars, Son Ye-jin and Hyun-bin fell in love with filming a series, Crash Landing On You, which was a big K-drama hit in 2020.

However, it was not their first acting collaboration. Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin starred together in the 2018 Korean movie, The Negotiation.

In 2021, their respective talent agencies confirmed their relationship, and on March 31, 2022, the couple exchanged vows in a private ceremony held im Aston House, Grand Walkerhill Hotel, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul.

One can never have enough outfits during the big day, that's why Son Ye-jin wore not just one, but four gorgeous dresses on her wedding day! Wow!

On what would look like a pre-wedding snap, Son Ye-Jin donned a sleeveless Elie Saab tulle ball gown from the Lebanese designer's Bridal Spring 2022 collection. It features a voluminous ballerina skirt and fitted bodice doused with intricate sequins, beads, and flowers crafted with organza.

Son Ye-jin completed her looks with a pair of diamond-encrusted ear studs, a side-parted low bun, and a cascading bouquet.

During the pre-wedding ceremony photo, Son Ye-jin wore a white tulle dress from the spring 2020 bridal collection of Vera Wang. An asymmetrical hand-draped French tulle ensemble decorated with a macramé lace skirt, veiled with a dramatic hand-draped tulle overlay, and a corseted bodice that lent a modern touch to her look.

On the actual wedding day, the Crash Landing on You star was a vision of loveliness in an off-the-shoulder tulle dress from the Israeli fashion brand, Mira Zwillinger's spring and summer 2022 collection.

The tulle gown is made with abstract lace fabric from the sweetheart corset to its hem. It features a sweetheart bodice and a matching gauzy veil. The overskirt of the dress has layers of soft tulle decorated with abstract lace.

After the ceremony, she changed to a more contemporary look, wearing a billowy sage gown with cap sleeves from Vera Wang’s Spring 2020 collection. The gown is made with lace and is partially covered with a dramatic tulle overskirt.

7. Lee Da In in Berta

The most lavish wedding among the K-drama stars in recent times is definitely that of Lee Da-in and Lee Seung Gi! The star-studded ceremony was held on April 7, 2023, at the Grand Intercontinental Seoul Parnas Hotel in Gangnam, Seoul, South Korea.

The couple who confirmed their romance in May 2021, announced their engagement in February this year through Lee Seung-gi's official Instagram account. The two did not collaborate in a drama but met through a mutual friend, some years ago.

Just like most celebrity brides, Lee Da-in wore three beautiful dresses on her wedding day and all sparked in elegance and extravagance.

In the pre-wedding ceremony shoot, Lee Da-in wore an elegant beaded tube dress reportedly from Ivan Yong Couture, a Malaysian bridal label. She completed her look with a big tiara.

Among the three lovely gowns that she donned on her big day, it looked like Lee Da-in walked down the aisle in a crystal-embellished gown from the luxury fashion brand, Berta, a sparkly grayish long sleeves with fitted neckline. She secured her sweeping veil with a large diamond tiara.

Lee Da-in changed into a lace off-the-shoulder white ball gown to receive guests in the waiting room. This dress with a beautiful lace overlay design and hand embroidery is reportedly from Pnina Tornai. She also wore a tiara which looked like the same head sparkler she wore on the actual wedding ceremony,

The star-studded wedding was attended by celebrities such as Goblin star Lee Dong Wook, Cha Eun Woo, rapper Jay Park, Hospital Playlist’s Yoo Yeon Seok, and Bae Suzy.

8. Park Shin-hye in Oscar de la Renta

K-drama stars, Park Shin-hye and Choi Tae-joon, tied the knot on January 22, 2022, in Seoul, South Korea, and just like most Korean celebrity weddings, the venue was adorned with beautiful blooms and the bride wore four sets of wedding gowns!

But unlike other Asian celebrities, particularly in the C-entertainment where bridal gowns are often custom-made, Park Shin-hye's wedding dresses were from the bridal collections of popular haute couture designers.

For her pre-wedding photoshoot, The Heirs actress wore a dress designed by Filipino-American couture designer, Monique Lhuillier, a wildflower-inspired dress from Monique's 2022 spring bridal collection.

The dress featured a wide neck and balloon sleeves embroidered with floral patterns in light green against white sheer fabric. The dress reflects the beauty of spring.

For the pre-wedding ceremony photoshoot, Park Shin-Hye donned a classic white lace dress. It features a see-through lace fabric from the neck to the wrists, embroidered with flowers and leaves.

The gown is from Monique Lhuillier’s 2021 spring bridal collection, which, according to the company's website, combines Spanish and Californian flair with its luminous embroidery, traditional lace, delicate floral details, and regal proportions.

Park Shin-Hye walked down the aisle wearing a white tube dress from Oscar de la Renta's 2022 spring-summer bridal collection. The stunning dress features elegant embroidery details.

The design of the dress was inspired by botanical designs focusing on pressed flowers, and according to the dress's description on the company's website, "the collection aims to fulfill the wedding fantasy of a lush garden ceremony".

Park donned another piece from Oscar de la Renta’s spring 2022 bridal collection. The ball gown features embroidered bows and a large perforated lace pattern, like a garden. Inside is a layer of nude cloth. Together, the design elements create a unique and luxurious look all at the same time.

9. Patricia Good

British-Thai actress, Patricia Good tied the knot with her Thai businessman beau, Note Vises, who came from a wealthy family in Thailand, on December 22, 2022, at the Ballroom Capella Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand.

It was also a lavish wedding ceremony as seen in the elegant wedding venue, guests, and attires of the wedding party. Pat wore three stunning white gowns during the ceremony, but we didn't have any information about who designed her fabulous dresses.

She walked down the aisle in a long-sleeved white gown covered in lace and with a plunging neckline. She later changed to an ivory satin tube dress for the wedding reception. Another white gown she wore in what could be a pre-ceremony photo, is a tube dress with a tulle overlay around the shoulder.

10. Tiffany Tang in Mikael Derderian fairytale gown

C-drama stars, Tiffany Tang or Tang Yan, and Luo Jin first worked in the 2014 drama "Diamond Lover" but Tiffany Tang's leading man in this drama was K-drama actor, Rain, and Luo Jin only played the second male lead.

The two worked again, this time as main leads, in the hit costume drama, The Princess Weiyoung, which was aired in 2016. It was a commercial success in China and overseas. Following the airing of The Princess Weiyoung, it was soon revealed that Tiffany Tang and Luo Jin were dating.

Luo Jin and Tiffany soon became a couple. And on October 28, 2018, they wed in a fairytale-like ceremony. The venue was the famous Schloss Belvedere Museum in Vienna, Austria.

It was a dreamy wedding for the couple as the venue was transformed into a fairytale garden adorned with abundant silk flowers.

Tiffany herself donned a spectacular white dress with princess sleeves. The dress was designed by Mikael Derderian heavily embroidered in roses and bowknot. The bride completed her fairytale look by wearing a tiara. For the reception ceremony, Tiffany wore a pink organza gown from Chloe.
