Princess Agents Season 2: Rebirth Begins Filming

The most awaited sequel of the costume drama hit, Princess Agents (2017), just started today, albeit different cast. None of the original cast members of season 1 returns. However, the production says, the season 2 follows a different story and not a direct sequel to season 1.

They also changed the name of the male lead, from Yu Weyue to Zhuge Yue. The role of Chu Qiao, played by Zhao Liying in season 1, will be played by Huang Yang Tian Tian, who coincidentally played the young Chu Qiao in season 1, it was Tian Tian's acting debut and she was 10 years old back then.

Main Leads of season 2: Li Yunrui as Zhuge Yue, Huang Yang Tian Tian as Chu Qiao, and Zhang Kang Le as Yan Xun.

Plot Summary of Rebirth:

After the slave girl Chu Qiao was rescued by Yan Xun, the prince of Yanbei, the two formed a deep friendship. Chu Qiao tried her best to help Yan Xun, but Yan Xun used Chu Qiao as bait and set an ambush to kill Zhuge Yue, the son of the Daxia family. 

Zhuge Yue and Chu Qiao fell into the icy lake together. After Chu Qiao was rescued, she looked for an opportunity to assassinate Yan Xun to avenge Zhuge Yue. 

After Yan Xun fled back to Yanbei, he was determined to attack Daxia. The dragon-slaying boy became an evil dragon. He also turned from love to hate Chu Qiao and tried to make her submit to him by any means. 

While Chu Qiao was fighting against Yan Xun, she suspected that Zhuge Yue, who fell into the icy lake with her, was still alive, so she tried hard to find his whereabouts. 

When she was helping Bian Tang to quell the civil strife, she was rescued several times by a mysterious man. Chu Qiao had a sense of déjà vu about him. It turned out that he was Zhuge Yue.
