Love Never Fails Chinese Drama Finally Premieres April 28, 2025

 

Finally, the Chinese costume fantasy drama Love Never Fails will air on April 28 after undergoing uncertainties. This drama was supposed to air in 2022, but its main female lead, Yuan Bingyan, got entangled in a tax evasion scandal, prompting all her shows to be shelved indefinitely. 

In Chinese entertainment, once celebrities got involved in controversies, legal issues with authorities, and scandalous circumstances, their shows would be axed or removed, and they would be ultimately "cancelled" and their career would be finally over.

But the people behind Love Never Fails did not want to put all the efforts and investment into waste, so they resolved to just replace Yuan Bingyan using a face-swapping method. So young actress Hu Yixuan, was tapped to replace Bingyan. Hu Yixuan filmed her scenes on the green screen. This means that it's still Yuan Bingyan on screen, only that the face is already that of Hu Yixuan. So let's see how these things are done smoothly.

Love Never Fails is a costume fantasy drama. This is supposed to be the second drama collaboration of Liu Xueyi and Yuan Bingyan who first worked together in Love and Redemption. Love Never Fails will premiere on April 28 at 6:00 in the evening on iQiYi and Mango TV.

Also premiering on April 28 on iQIYI is the highly anticipated fantasy drama, Love in Pavilion, the second installment of the Fox Spirit Matchmaker drama adaptation. It stars Liu Shishi and Zhang Yunlong. So costume xianxia drama fans will have a busy April 28 day 😄
