This is a big male project from iQiyi and it looks like a double male lead? The rumored leads are Cheng Yi and Lin Gengxin, two of Chinese drama's big names so hopefully there will be no fighting between their fans who comes first in the billing credit.Â
The suspense historical drama, "15 Days Between Two Capitals", will reportedly begin filming this September and will draw two big names in the C-Drama world as main leads: Cheng Yi and Lin Gengxin, so we will be looking forward to the official announcement soon.Â

Adapted from the novel of Ma Boyong, the original work is based on a true historical account from the History of Ming dynasty about the Ming Emperor Zhu Zhanji (Emperor Xuanzong of Ming) when he was the crown prince:
"In April, there were frequent earthquakes in Nanjing, so Zhu Zhanji was ordered to go and reside there as the governor. After a month, Emperor Renzong fell ill and summoned him back to Beijing. In June, he returned to the capital, received the edict, and entered the palace to mourn".
To make the play more dramatic and intense, author Ma Boyong made Zhu Zhanji, a young constable of Nanjing, and added other interesting characters such as a meticulous female doctor, and a frustrated official.Â
This drama will show how these three people embark on a crazy 15-day journey from Nanjing to Beijing to save the perilous Ming dynasty.

Cheng Yi |
If he will accept this project, this will be Cheng Yi's second time to play a Ming dynasty prince who would be emperor. He previously played Prince Zhu Di, the future Yongle emperor of the Ming dynasty, in "Imperial Age" (the main lead was Feng Shaofeng as the Yongle emperor).
