Meng Ziyi and Li Yunrui Second Drama Collab, Tigers Sniff the Rose

Meng Ziyi and Li Yunrui, who starred together in Blossom last year, 2024, will going to collaborate for the second time in a costume drama. Tigers Sniff and Rose, also known as Princess Shang will be produced by Tencent and will start filming this third quarter of 2025.

This second collaboration of Meng Ziyi and Li Yunrui is quite unexpected as the rumored male lead of this drama early this year was Zhang Linghe. Blossom fans however are happy that the two, who have strong chemistry in their first pairing, are going to work together again.

Here's the plot summary of Tigers Sniff the Rose:

Princess Danyang Mu Wan Yao was ordered to leave Chang An and go to Lingnan to pray for her deceased mother. On her return journey, because the axle of the carriage broke on the mountain road, she met Yan Shang, a scholar who was returning home from the rural school.
