As dedicated drama viewers, most often than not, we tend to be easily drawn to what's happening on-screen between the two main leads (male and female to be specific). The spark of their on-screen romance, especially if the two have strong chemistry, captivates us to the core.
This fascination often leads us to hope for a happy ending between them in real life. So just imagine how fans become ecstatic every time on-screen couples wed in real life?
This happened recently when Hyun Bin, 39, and Son Ye-Jin, 40, made their on-screen romance in the 2020 K-drama hit, Crash Landing on You, real.
The two finally tied the knot on March 31, 2022, in a private ceremony attended only by their respective families and closest friends. The private ceremony was in accordance with COVID-19 government restrictions.
According to their respective agencies, Vast Entertainment and MS Team, through an instagram post: "The ceremony will be private in consideration with the situation with COVID-19, so we ask for your generous understanding. We are sharing the news with their photos instead".
Based on photos shared by Hyun Bin's agency, Vast Entertainment, the actor donned three suits, one pair in all white, a classic black tuxedo, and a gray suit with a cream-toned tie.
Son Ye-Jin wore two pairs of white wedding outfits, a dainty tulle dress with lace wrapping in her arm and shoulder and the other one with embroidered lacey sleeveless. The third outfit is an ethereal olive green dress with lace details.
Hyu Bin and Son Ye-Jin first appeared together in the 2018 Korean film, The Negotiation, before they starred as main leads in the 2020 K-drama hit, Crash Landing on You.
Son Ye-Jin actually had a guest role in Hyu Bin's hit drama in 2010 Secret Garden, but they didn't appear together in any scenes. Jin only appeared as herself in the final episode.
Son Ye-Jin posted a sweet message on instagram to confirm the news of their engagement:
“I thought long and hard about how to share this story because it’s an important one. I found someone to spend the rest of my life with. Yes… it’s him. Boy meets girl, recognizes each other in the crowd, promises to build a future together… I couldn’t imagine! It happened so naturally… But, isn't that destiny? Just being with him, I feel warm and protected. Please help us celebrate the beginning of our future.” She added, "And to my dearest fans, I have received unconditional love and for a long time now, I thought, there’s no way to repay it. Please know that I’m infinitely grateful and I also wish you all happiness!”
Recently, Korean media revealed the couple arrived in Los Angeles, California on April 11, 2021 for their week-long honeymoon. Best wishes to Hyun Bin and Son Ye-Jin!

To mark the occasion, Son Ye-jin posted on her instagram story a never before seen wedding photo of her and Hyun-bin, showing them holding hands while seated in the reception table.
Son Ye-jin gave birth to their first child, a son, back in November. They haven't revealed the name of their child so far.
