K-Drama Stars Park Min Young, Go Kyung Pyo and Kim Jae Young Confirmed to Star in a New Rom-Com Drama

Finally, this is confirmed! Confirmed. This new K-drama with such a long title: "MonWedFriTueThursSat" (literal translation) will star Park Min Young, Go Kyung Pyo, and Kim Jae Young. It will be aired on tvN, one of South Korea's cable television networks.

It sounds like a weird title but that's the direct English translation from the Korean language. And we don't know yet how it should be properly called in English.

This is a rom-com drama as obvious in its plot summary.

The story revolves around Choi Sang-Eng (Park Ming Young), Jung Ji Ho (Go Kyung Pyo), and Kang Hae Jin (Kim Jae Young) who will be entangled in a web of conflict due to the circumstances surrounding a helper service.

Sang-Eun is a specially trained escort in a helper service company that provides an escort to single men who don't want to get married but need to attend parties and reunions where attendees are married.

So you will get the picture of what this drama is all about. And even now, while writing this post, I started laughing because this is all about pretending of getting a wife lol!

Park Min Young

Choi Sang Eun is a woman of good virtues, charming and attractive and well-trained in her job as an escort. Her job is to pretend as a wife to clients who are single men.

Through her work, she will meet two clients of the company with contrasting background. Jung Ji Ho (Go Kyun Pyo), and Kang Hae Jin (Kim Jae Young). She will pretend as their wife on different schedules.

Jung Ji Ho, a client with a mysterious personality and occupation,  has an exclusive contract with the company and Sang Eun will pretend as his wife during Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Kim Jae Young

Kang Hae Jin, the youngest son of a rich family and a budding Hallyu star is the newest client of Sang Eun, and she will pretend as his wife on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Hae Jin, with his strong appeal, will give Sang-Eun a challenge in her job.

Go Kyung Pyo

This drama will be directed by Nam Sung Woo, the director of "100 Days My Prince" and "My Roommate is a Gumiho", so many K-drama fans expressed high expectations this is going to be a fun romantic drama to watch.

According to the initial report, this drama will air late this year.

This will be Park Min Young's second drama to air this year. She just starred in "Forecasting Love and Weather" which aired early this year.

I've watched Park Min Young only in City Hunter, Healer, and What's Wrong with Secretary Kim, after these projects I haven't paid attention to her succeeding drama.

Go Kyung Pyo was last seen in the drama, "Private Lives" in 2020. But busy filming his latest projects, "Decision to Live", "Seoul Vibe", and "6/45".

Kim Jae Young last appeared in "Reflection of You", in 2021.

The plot sounds very hilarious, a feel-good drama because it is a rom-com. We're anticipating this drama to watch late this year. Hopefully, it will also be available on Netflix for international K-drama fans.
