Thai Drama Couple Nadech Kugimiya and Urassaya Sperbund Officially Engaged

Yes finally! Thai drama power couple, Nadech Kugimiya and Urassaya "Yaya" Sperbund are officially engaged after more than 10 years in a relationship. Congratulations!

The celebrity couple shared the happy news through their respective official instagram accounts. Yaya captioned the engagement photos " We decided on forever".

While Nadech posted barrage of photos and video clips on his instagram account from their engagement in Sorrento, Italy.

The engagement happened in the coastal resort of Bagni Regina Giovanna, one of the most beautiful resorts near Sorrento, Italy, on June 1, 2023. The couple only broke the news on June 5, Monday. 

Tucked away in the hills a few kilometers to the west of Sorrento’s bustling town, Bagni Regina Giovanna is one of the most picturesque swimming spots in the whole Sorrentine Peninsula in Italy.

Their best friends, Mark Prin Suparat and Kimberley Ann Woltemas, who will wed on September 14, 2023, in Lake Como, Italy, witnessed the engagement.

Nadech and Yaya also witnessed when Mark Prin Suparat proposed to Kimmy Woltemas in Switzerland in April 2022. So, it's but a fitting moment for Mark and Kimmy to be there as Nadech popped the question.

Nadech gave his beautiful fiancee a sparkling pear-shaped diamond ring, which is one of the largest diamond engagement rings we saw in celebrity couples! 😳

Yaya wore a seductive backless white halter dress during the engagement while Nadech wore a white shirt and white trousers. The happy couple popped a bottle of champagne after the proposal. And Nadech also gave Yaya a fresh bouquet of white roses. 

Nadech and YaYa's beautiful Love Story 

Nadech and Yaya's love story is just one tale we love to hear among our favorite drama celebrities. They first met on the set of the Thai drama, Duang Jai Akkanee, in 2010. They got into a relationship in 2011. However, it was not until 2019 that they publicly admitted their romance.

Nadech and Yaya also obtained college degrees despite their busy schedule in showbiz. Nadech obtained his Film and Cinematography degree from Rangsit University and got his Master's degree in 2020. While Yaya obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand.

They both have European blood. Nadech is half-Thai, half-Austrian. His surname, Kugimiya, is taken from his adoptive father who is a Japanese national. While Yaya's father is a Norwegian, her mother is Thai.
