K-Drama Star Son Ye-jin Reveals Reasons of Why Hyun Bin is The One For Her

 

This might not be shocking news anymore to K-drama fans as Son Ye-jin and Hyun-Bin have been married for two years now, but hearing the reason straight from Son Ye-jin why she married Hyun-Bin is still the cutest and sweetest thing to hear today about the Crash Landing On You couple.

On July 5, Son Ye-jin attended the 28th Bucheon International Film Festival in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province in South Korea. It was held at the Cultural Hall on the Hyundai Department Store in the said city.

During the Filmfest event, she attended a talk show where she interacted with the audience. One of the crowd's members suddenly asked the actress what made her think Hyun-Bin was "The One" to spend her entire life with.

Son Ye-jin responded, "That's really a fresh question", she said, laughing, then teased the audience, "Isn't it time to wrap up?" 😂

Then she straightened up and said:

"Actors often meet their co-stars while working on projects. Many people date and marry within the industry, but I wasn't particularly fond of that idea."

"However, there is such a thing as destiny. People around us kept saying we looked alike, and I started thinking, 'Do we have a similar vibe?' as we worked on two projects together. I was really impressed by him as a person."

Son Ye-jin went on to describe Hyun Bin: "He's like an old-school scholar, upright and rational. He's not someone who sugarcoats things or tries to present himself in a certain way. He's very straightforward and trustworthy." Then added, "He's handsome and tall!"

Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin collaborated twice. First in the movie, "The Negotiation" in 2018, followed by the hit K-drama, Crash Landing on You in 2020. 

A year later, in 2021, their management confirmed their relationship, and less than a year later, on March 31, 2022, the two got married in a private ceremony in Seoul, South Korea.

Eight months later in November 2022, Son Ye-jin gave birth to their first child, a son.
